Refund Policy

1. Overview

We take pride in supplying high-quality mortuary equipment and stretchers. Due to the specialised and hygienic nature of our products, our returns and refund policy is structured in line with the Consumer Protection Act (CPA) of South Africa.

Please read this policy carefully before making a purchase.

2. Eligibility for Returns

Returns will only be considered under the following circumstances:

  • The product is defective, damaged, or faulty upon delivery

  • The incorrect item was supplied

  • The product fails to perform as reasonably expected for its intended purpose

All claims must be reported within 7 days of delivery.

3. Non-Returnable Items

For hygiene, safety, and regulatory reasons, the following items cannot be returned or refunded unless they are defective:

  • Mortuary equipment that has been used, installed, or tampered with

  • Stretchers that have been used or exposed to biological material

  • Custom-made, special-order, or modified equipment

  • Clearance or discounted items marked as “Final Sale”

4. Condition of Returned Items

To qualify for a return:

  • The item must be unused, uninstalled, and in original packaging

  • All accessories, manuals, and components must be included

  • The item must be returned in a resalable condition

We reserve the right to inspect returned items before approving any refund or replacement.

5. Refunds

Once a return is approved and inspected:

  • Refunds will be processed within 7–14 business days

  • Refunds will be issued using the original payment method

  • Delivery and handling fees are non-refundable, unless the return is due to our error

If a repair or replacement is more reasonable, we reserve the right to offer this in accordance with the CPA.

6. Exchanges & Repairs

Where applicable, we may:

  • Repair the item

  • Replace the item with the same or equivalent product

  • Issue a refund if repair or replacement is not feasible

The chosen remedy will align with CPA provisions and product availability.

7. Return Shipping

  • Customers are responsible for return shipping costs unless the item is faulty or incorrectly supplied

  • We recommend using a trackable courier service

  • We are not responsible for items lost or damaged during return transit

8. How to Request a Return

To initiate a return, please contact us with:

  • Proof of purchase (invoice or receipt)

  • Description of the issue

  • Photos or videos where applicable
